GDC Kargil Launches the third Issue of College Magazine, “Kaliman”

Kargil, October 04, 2025: The annual magazine of Government Degree College Kargil “Kaliman” was launched today by Honb’le Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC-Kargil Dr. Mohammad Jaffar Akhone in presence of Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC-Kargil, Rakesh Kumar (IAS).
Principal GDC Kargil Disket Angmo (who holds the additional charge of Superintendent, ITI-Kargil and the editorial team of the magazine were also present during the releasing ceremony.
The Hon’ble CEC and DC Kargil appreciated the efforts of Principal, GDC-Kargil, and her editorial team for launch of the college magazine and expressed warm wishes while hoping for a wider readership to foster effective reading culture among the students.
The newly released multilingual magazine “Kaliman” manifests a design of both traditional and modern outlook with articles, poems and creative writings by students and faculties of the college.
