GDC Khaltse organises seminar on Banking and Financial Literacy.

Leh, June 20: The Seminar and Debate Committee of Government Degree College, Khaltse in collaboration with J&K Bank Khaltse, organized a seminar on ‘General Banking and Financial Literacy’ for the students today. Manager J&K Bank, Khaltse Branch, Nawang Tashi was the speaker on the occasion.
The speaker spoke at length about financial assistance programmes like Educational loans and schemes, such as Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), MUDRA-Tarun, Kishore, Shishu Yojanas etc.
The students enthusiastically participated in the programme, following a Q&A session.
