Good Governance Week 2024 with the Theme ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’ Organised at Tia, Temisgam, Lamayuru, and Kanji of Khaltse Block.
Khaltse, December 20, 2024: To ensure the saturation of flagship government schemes, the week-long event for Good Governance Week 2024, under the theme ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur’, was successfully organized at Tia, Temisgam, Lamayuru, and Kanji villages of Khaltse block. The event was conducted in the Community Halls of Temisgam and Lamayuru today, December 20, 2024. During the camp, officers and officials from various concerned departments, including Revenue, Animal Husbandry, Health, Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, ICDS, Social Welfare, Rural Development Department, J&K Bank, Food Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs and National Rural Livelihood Mission departments were present to provide on-the-spot services related to various government schemes. Information about various departmental schemes was also shared with the beneficiaries, and flagship schemes were showcased at stalls during the camp. Incharge Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar Khaltse, Mr. Mohd Sharief, briefed the beneficiaries about the Good Governance Week programme. He encouraged the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the camp’s services and also issued ST/LRC certificates and property cards to eligible beneficiaries from the mentioned villages. Public grievances were also addressed during the camp, particularly regarding the drinking water supply especially in the winter months in Tia and Temisgam villages. SDM Khaltse assured the residents that the main issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for resolution.
