    Govt. Model Middle School Taru Students Visit DIET Leh, Explore Creative and Experiential Learning.
    Leh, August 28, 2026: A group of students from Government Model Middle School, Taru, visited the Balvatika Room at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh, on August 27, 2026, providing the young learners an opportunity to engage in creative, recreational and experiential learning activities.
    During the visit, the students participated in various activities aimed at fostering creativity, curiosity and confidence. The learners expressed their imagination through colourful drawings and explored the Tinkers Wall, engaging in hands-on activities that encouraged curiosity, innovation and problem-solving skills.
    The students also utilised the stage facility to showcase their talents through various performances. The activity provided them with an opportunity to overcome stage fear and develop confidence in public speaking and performing before an audience.
    Nine teachers accompanied the students and facilitated the activities throughout the visit, ensuring that the learning experience remained both enjoyable and educational.
    The visit highlighted the importance of experiential learning in the overall development of children by combining education with creativity, play and performance, thereby nurturing their confidence, imagination and emotional expression.
