Health Camp Organized at Karsha Gompa During Sacred Holy Relics.
Zanskar, May 12, 2026: On the occasion of the Sacred Holy Relics at Karsha Gompa, the Community Health Center (CHC) Zanskar, Health Department organized a health camp to provide medical support to devotees and visitors.
From Monday, till 1:00 pm on Tuesday, a total of around 150 patients were examined. Most of the patients were treated for gastric problems, headaches, and normal fever. Necessary medical check-ups, basic treatment, and advice were provided on the spot.
Sharing the details, Dr Dechana Lamo stated that the health camp was arranged to ensure timely medical care and to maintain the well-being of devotees during the religious event.
The initiative of the Health Department was appreciated by devotees and locals for ensuring health and safety during the Sacred Holy Relics at Karsha Gompa.
