ICDS Project Sankoo celebrates Intl. Women’s Day at Kanoor

Kargil, March 4, 2023: As part of the week-long celebration of International Women’s Day, ICDS Project Sankoo Kargil today celebrated International Women’s Day at Panchayat Halqa Kanoor.

The fourth day of the program started with a welcome speech by Supervisor, ICDS Project Sankoo Zulikha Banoo and resource person of One Stop Centre Kargil, Sapoora Banoo was present as a special guest.

Zulikha Banoo talked about the program theme, cleanliness drive at AWCs and in the surrounding areas. Padma Choton Supervisor briefed about the importance of International Women’s Day and gave awareness on personal hygiene.

Sapoora Banoo briefed the participants about the services of One Stop Centre Kargil including shelter for women. She also talked about the problems being faced by women in society.

In the end, AWWs, AWHs, participants from Panchayat Halqa Kanoor along with Supervisors held a cleanliness drive at Anganwadi Centers and at their surroundings.
