Ice wall climbing competition 2023 to organise in Leh The event will be held from February 27 to March 1

Leh, Feb 20: The North West Frontier, ITBPF in collaboration with Ladakh Mountain Guide Association to organise the second edition of ‘Nurbu Wangdus Memorial Ice Wall Climbing Competition-2023’ from February 27 to March 1 at Gangles village.
The objectives is to encourage participation from across the country, improve skill, nurture talent, and give a boost to high altitude sports and Tourism in Ladakh and also to provide a platform to future mountaineers and to create a rich talented pool for the winter Olympics. Besides, it is also to inculcate a sense of cohesiveness and faith in the ITBP Force among the people of Ladakh and to inspire the youth of Ladakh region.
Five teams from ITBP Force, two teams of LMGA, two teams of school children from various schools of Leh and Ladakh Police to take part in the event.
Around 100 participants/ competitors will take part in various events.
