“Jung sJabs” Programme Concludes Successfully at Tirith, Nubra.
Nubra, April 21, 2026: The “Jung sJabs” programme under the Administration at Doorstep initiative was successfully concluded today at Tirith village of Tehsil Sumoor under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Jorgais.
The programme aimed at strengthening public outreach, enhancing awareness, and ensuring effective delivery of various government welfare schemes and essential services to the residents.
Various departments including Revenue, Sheep Husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture and District Social Welfare Department Leh, along with other line departments, participated in the programme and extended their services to the general public.
During the camp, a range of services were provided on the spot, including issuance of Resident Certificates, Revenue extracts, ST and Domicile certificates, ABHA ID generation, PMJAY enrolment, facilitation of Kisan Credit Cards, PM KISAN registration, APAAR ID creation, Aadhaar updation, and distribution of essential medicines by the concerned departments.
Addressing the gathering, the Tehsildar highlighted the significance of the Administration at Doorstep initiative and urged the residents to avail maximum benefits from various government schemes.
Officers and officials from different departments actively participated and addressed public grievances and issues on the spot.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local residents, who benefitted from the services and awareness activities conducted during the camp.
