“Jung sJabs” Programme Strengthens Public Outreach and Welfare Delivery at Remote Waris Fastan Village in Nubra.
Nubra, March 31, 2026:
The “Jung sJabs” programme under the Administration at Doorstep initiative was successfully conducted at Waris Fastan village, a remote area in Nubra Subdivision, under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Diskit, Tufail Iqbal (JKAS).
The programme aimed to strengthen public outreach, enhance awareness, and ensure the effective delivery of government welfare schemes and services to the residents of Waris Fastan village.
During the camp, a wide range of public services and awareness activities were provided. These included Aadhaar registration, issuance of Resident Certificates, Scheduled Tribe certificates, domicile certificates, creation of ABHA IDs, facilitation of Kisan Credit Cards, filling of PM KISAN forms, generation of APAAR IDs, PMJAY enrolment, and distribution of medicines. Officials also disseminated information about various government schemes and extended necessary guidance and assistance to beneficiaries.
