Kargil Cooperative Department Marks 72nd All India Cooperative Week with Focus on Society Revival.
Kargil, November 18, 2025: As part of the 72nd All India Cooperative Week, being celebrated across the country to mark the International Year of Cooperatives, the Cooperative Department Kargil organized an event today.
The event was chaired by Dr. Sarwar Shahzad, Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, and was attended by all ARCs, Inspectors, Auditors, Supervisors, other officials, and members of various cooperative societies.
During the event, the Deputy Registrar Cooperatives placed special emphasis on the challenges faced by non-functional societies and discussed practical measures to revive and strengthen them.
He also highlighted and suggested that every cooperative outlet should prioritize stocking a greater number of local products.
Success stories of well-performing cooperatives were also highlighted as examples for others to follow. The concerned ARCs and officials actively participated in the event.
