Kargil Jan Hit Camp successfully concludes in Drass Sub Division.
Drass, September 18, 2025: A Unified Awareness Camp for Sustainable Livelihood, under the banner of “Jan Hit Camp,” was successfully held today at Dak Bungalow, Drass.
The program began with a welcome speech by Shaukat Ahmad, Functional Manager, DIC Kargil, who expressed gratitude to the guests and attendees. He outlined the camp’s objectives and provided an overview of the various schemes and initiatives implemented by the Industries Department.
The event was attended by senior citizens and youth from Drass Subdivision, as well as representatives from various departments, including Agriculture, Handloom, Handicrafts, LRLM, RDD, Tourism, and PDD—who presented detailed insights into their respective programs, schemes, and livelihood opportunities available.
Approximately 70 participants, including youth and women attended the camp. Four PMEGP and one PMFME sponsorship letters were also distributed to various beneficiaries.
