Sham on 31st of July,2026.The Ladakh Police proudly announce the retirement of Sub-Inspector Skarma Angchuk, posted at district Police Sham following 41 years of dedicated, disciplined, and exemplary service in law enforcement and public duty.
Throughout his over four-decades career, SI Angchuk served the department with unwavering integrity, professionalism, and commitment. He earned widespread respect across the region for his calm handling of complex law-and-order situations, as well as his steadfast dedication to maintaining peace and security—frequently operating under challenging terrains and severe conditions.
His conduct reflected the highest standard of the police force, earning him the admiration of senior leadership, the camaraderie of his peers, and serving as a lasting source of inspiration for younger officers entering the service.
On the occasion of his retirement, the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Sham, Malik Aijaz( JKPS) alongside all ranks of the Police Department, extend heartfelt gratitude to SI Skarma Angchuk for his invaluable service and wishes him a healthy, peaceful, and prosperous retired life.
