Ladakh TRI and PM SHRI School Drass Host Successful Tribal Quiz Competition

Kargil, November 10, 2025: The Tribal Research Institute (TRI) of Ladakh, Kargil Campus, University of Ladakh, in collaboration with PM SHRI Government High School Thasgam, Drass, organized a Tribal Quiz Competition for the tribal students of the school under the banner of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh Pakhawada, funded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India.
The event aimed to promote awareness about tribal heritage, culture, and history among students, fostering pride in their rich traditions. The entire session was conducted by Mr. Zakir Hussain, who made the competition engaging and informative for the participants.
The quiz was evaluated by the jury members Mr. Mazoor Ahmad and Mr. Ansar Hussain, while Mr. Altaf extended his valuable support throughout the event. After the competition, refreshments were served to all participating students, adding a warm and cheerful conclusion to the program.
All teachers appreciated the initiative and expressed that such events play a vital role in promoting cultural awareness, confidence, and knowledge among tribal students.
