LAHDC Kargil Hosts Farewell Tea Party for Director FCS&CA and Joint Director Youth Services & Sports, UT Ladakh.
Kargil, July 28, 2026: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil, today organised a farewell tea party at the Conference Hall of the Council Secretariat to honour Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Tahir Hussain Zubdavi, /Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports, UT Ladakh, on his retirement from government service.
The programme was graced by the Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon. Among those present were Executive Councillor Er. Punchok Tashi, Executive Councillor Agha Syed Mujtaba Musavi, Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Kargil Rakesh Kumar (IAS), Chief Controller of Finance Iftikhar Hussain, Joint Director Information Mohd Taqi, Director Horticulture Tsering Punchok, Chief Engineer PHE Mohd Abbas, Superintending Engineer PHE Mohammad Hassan, Chief Education Officer Kargil, Chief Accounts Officer Sajjad Hussain, Shamim Hussain, besides senior district officers and officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Executive Councillor fondly recalled his long association with Tahir Hussain Zubdavi and appreciated his dedication, professionalism, Man of integrity, honesty, prosperity and valuable contribution to public service. He lauded both retiring officers for their commitment and wished them good health, happiness and success in the years ahead.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar also shared his experiences of working with the retiring officers and acknowledged their sincerity, administrative competence and exemplary service. He extended his best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling retired life.
Addressing the gathering, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi reflected on his journey in government service, expressing gratitude to the administration, colleagues and staff for their support and cooperation throughout his career.
He also shared his experiences and expressed heartfelt thanks to all those who had been part of his professional journey.
Several officers present on the occasion also shared their memories of working with the retiring officers and conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for their dedication, integrity and service to the people. They wished both officers a peaceful, healthy and fulfilling post-retirement life.
