LAHDC Leh flags-in Everester Jigmat Tharchin today Congratulates him on a successful summit to Mt. Everest

Leh, July 05: The Executive Council of LAHDC Leh led by Chairman/CEC, Advocate Tashi Gyalson flagged-in and felicitated the first civilian Everester from UT Ladakh, Jigmat Tharchin at the Council Secretariat Leh today.
The event was attended by Dy Chairman, Tsering Angchuk, Executive Councillor, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; Executive Councillor, Stanzin Chosphel and office staffs of Council Secretariat, Leh.
Addressing the gathering, CEC Tashi Gyalson stated that, it is indeed a proud moment for the entire people of UT Ladakh that Jigmat Tharchin was able to scale the highest peak in the world successfully. He also extended gratitude to the UT Administration of Ladakh for providing financial assistance to Jigmat Tharchin for the expedition. CEC Gyalson wishes luck to Jigmat and assured Hill Council’s assistance for his future endeavors.
Everester Jigmat Tharchin also shared his experiences and the challenges he came across during the expedition. He extended his gratitude to LAHDC Leh and UT Administration for helping him financially in fulfilling his dream to scale the highest peak in the world.
