The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Leh proudly hosted the District Level Winners’ Showcase under the 53rd Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani 2026. The exhibition brought together the brightest young scientific minds from across the district, presenting innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) models that reflect the spirit of Viksit Bharat.
The showcase highlighted winning projects from schools, ranging from renewable energy solutions to futuristic technological applications. Models featuring wind turbines and sustainable cityscapes captured the imagination of visitors, symbolizing Ladakh’s commitment to progress and innovation. Notably, the winning models were displayed at the Leh Main Market, allowing the wider community to witness and appreciate the creativity and scientific spirit of local students.
On this occasion, the newly joined Principal of DIET Leh, Sh. S.D. Namgyal, visited the stalls and exhibits, interacted with participants, and warmly appreciated the students’ efforts. His encouraging words inspired the young innovators to continue their pursuit of scientific inquiry and creativity.
