Leh, Feb 15: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, has extended his warm greetings to the people of Ladakh and the nation on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor said that Maha Shivratri is a sacred festival symbolising devotion, self-realisation, and the triumph of truth over ignorance. He expressed hope that the festival would inspire everyone to follow the path of righteousness, compassion, and harmony.
The Lieutenant Governor prayed that the divine blessings of Lord Shiva bring peace, good health, prosperity, and spiritual strength to all, and further strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood among the people of Ladakh. He also called upon citizens to observe the festival with devotion and simplicity, while promoting the values of mutual respect, tolerance, and collective well-being.
