LRLM Kargil conducts 2nd day of social mobilization campaign “Sangathan Se Samriddhi” at Kaksar.

Kargil, May 03, 2023:
In continuation to the Social Mobilization Campaign, District Mission Management Unit, Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) today conducted mobilization campaign under the theme of “Sangathan Se Samriddhi” at Kaksar, Kargil under the supervision of Project Officer Wage (ACD), Ghulam Mohammad.
The program was aimed to reach out to uncovered households and PMAY beneficiaries of Kaksar village into Self Help Group (SHG) by September 2023-24.
Hasina Batool, Community Mobilizer Hardass, welcomed the staff of LRLM, Community Cadre and women of Kaksar village.
She gave a brief introduction to participants about the LRLM and its services and urged women to come out and participate in socio-economic and political developments.
Zulikha Banoo, who is currently doing successful business in the non-farm sector, shared her struggle and hard work during the initial days of her life and after joining SHGs.
Farida Batool, Cluster Coordinator talked about various opportunities of the LRLM and urged all to grab the opportunities and take part in the activities of LRLM program.
Documentary and success stories were also screened during the program which was aimed to encourage women to take an active part in the SHGs.
The District Project Manager, District Mission Manager, Block Program Manager, member of Panchayat and Community Cadre of LRLM were present during the program.
Near about 50 households turned up during the program and the village women assured to form 11 to 15 new SHGs by May 20, 2023.
