MEIGS Chiktan celebrates 1st Annual Day: Adopts one more school.
Kargil, November-24-2023: Movement for Educational Improvement in Government Schools (MEIGS) Chiktan celebrated its one year of completion by adopting Government Girls Middle School Zgang Chiktan under its umbrella at an event held at Chiktan.
On this occasion Chairman MEIGS Abdul Gaffar Zargar SDM Shakar Chiktan, congratulated all its members & schools for their sincere effort for the development of quality education in government schools.
Abdul Gaffar Zargar also thanked Chairperson District Minerals Foundation Trust Kargil and Deputy Commissioner Kargil Shrikant Suse for sanctioning funds for the initiative.
He said that MEIGS now with 12 government member schools with an approximate 700 students is the biggest initiative by volunteer government officers for a cause to improve the quality of education in Government Run Schools for the benefit of the Society.
During the previous year MEIGS started many initiatives, competitions, & self defense programmes as co-curriculum activities.
On this occasion Chairman MEIGS also distributed tracksuits, caps, school ID cards, and school dairies among its member schools.
Further related to MEIGS resolved many disputes & infrastructure problems by taking the matter with concerned authorities.
The main objective of MEIGS is to develop quality education & to enhance the students’ roles in government schools.
