Leh, November 17, 2025: Under the ongoing “Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) initiative, a public outreach camp was organised today at the Community Hall, Phey village, with active participation from villagers and officials of various departments.
Village Nambardar Tsering Mutup welcomed the Nodal Officer and all departmental officers and officials with traditional khataks and expressed his gratitude for their presence.
He highlighted several key issues faced by the villagers, including water scarcity, road improvement, the need for a community hall and market development, JJM-related concerns, funding requirements for primary school staff and a school bus, completion of the football ground for students, poor network connectivity, MGNREGA-related issues, and other essential matters affecting daily life.
Nodal Officer Dorjey Gyatso (SE, PWD-R&B) interacted with the villagers and explained the objective of the Mimang-Si-Sjabstogs campaign, stressing that the initiative aims to take administration and essential public services directly to the doorstep of the people. He instructed all departmental officers to present the status of their ongoing works, explain reasons for delays, and ensure timely completion. He also urged departments related to medical services, water supply, social welfare, food and civil supplies, and cooperation to expedite their pending tasks, while directing all officers to note the issues raised by villagers and ensure their timely redressal.
During the camp, several essential on-spot services were provided to the villagers. Ration Card services were carried out with five new family additions or changes and three modifications completed. Golden Card updates, NCD registration, and various online services were facilitated. The medical team generated 15 ABHA cards and conducted health check-ups, including blood pressure, weight, and height assessments. The Medical Department also organised a yoga demonstration, in which many women from the village actively participated.
Officials from various departments briefed the villagers about government schemes, welfare programmes, and the procedures for availing their benefits. Villagers also raised their concerns and queries, which were addressed by the respective departments.
The camp concluded with an assurance that all issues highlighted by the public will be taken up for prompt action under the “Administration at Your Doorstep” initiative.
