In his introductory remarks, the SE welcomed the gathering of nearly 120 villagers and emphasised the objective of the campaign—to bring government services directly to the community and ensure timely redressal of local issues.
During the camp, various departments briefed the public on schemes, services, and ongoing developmental works.
The Public Works Department (PWD) informed residents about the completion of the Futsal ground and Gonpa parking area, along with updates on the link road project and ongoing road-widening works aimed at improving accessibility within the village.
The Handicrafts Department highlighted weaving training programmes and assured support for marketing and product sales under Brand Ladakh, encouraging artisans to participate for skill development and income generation.
The Cooperative Department shared details about the supply of organic manure, subsidised veterinary medicines, and vegetable supplies provided to the village. Villagers requested awareness sessions on the correct usage of organic manure, and the department also discussed the process of village cooperative registration.
The Power Development Department (PDD) responded to concerns raised on low electricity voltage and damaged utility poles, assuring that the issues would be taken up for resolution.
The Horticulture Department briefed villagers on Orchard Development support for land up to 5 kanal, alongside information on the Solar Crop Dryer subsidy of ₹1.92 lakh, encouraging farmers to apply for the scheme.
The Education Department encouraged parents to enrol their children in government schools, highlighting support for meritorious students under central schemes like PM SHRI. Representatives also noted concerns regarding Spituk Ldrumra School, which has been facing a lack of adequate support from the department, and assured that the matter would be reviewed.
The Health Department informed the public about free maternal health services, 108 ambulance services, and the benefits of Golden Cards and ABHA health IDs, urging villagers to avail these services.
The PHE Department addressed grievances related to the Jal Jeevan Mission pipeline, with villagers requesting replacement of old and damaged pipes to ensure reliable water supply.
The Aadhar team facilitated on-the-spot services, with 25 Aadhar cards biometrically updated during the camp.
During the interaction session, residents raised various concerns, which were noted by the Nodal Officer for follow-up. He thanked the public for their active participation and assured that all key issues raised during the camp would be appropriately addressed through the concerned departments.
The outreach camp concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening last-mile service delivery under the Mimang-Si-sJabstogs initiative.
