Mimang-Si-sJabstogs Public Outreach Camp Held at Stakna Village
November 14, 2025As part of the ongoing Mimang-Si-sJabstogs – “Administration at Your Doorstep” initiative, a public outreach camp was organised today at Stakna Village under the supervision of A.G. Zargar, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) and Nodal Officer for the programme.
The camp aimed at addressing local issues promptly and strengthening governance through direct community engagement where ACD Leh resolved many issues and public grievances on the spot.
During the interaction, the village Nambardar highlighted several local grievances such as the need for blacktopping of the link road, issues arising from a three-phase line passing through farmlands causing short circuits, installation of smart meters, JJM maintenance, repair of the irrigation channel, and vaccination and veterinary-related queries. The concerned departments responded to these issues, many of which were resolved on the spot.
The Panchayat representative explained matters related to MGNREGA job cards and schemes, while the Education Department informed the public about central schemes including PM Poshan, PM Shri, and Samagra Shiksha.
The Social Welfare Department briefed villagers on various welfare initiatives such as pension schemes for men, women, and persons with disabilities, student scholarships, and the National Family Benefit Scheme.
The Health Department facilitated awareness and registration for Golden Cards and ABHA Health IDs, whereas the PDD provided information on solar rooftop schemes. The Animal Husbandry Department created awareness on livestock vaccination and related services.
Addressing the gathering, ACD A.G. Zargar emphasised the objective of the Mimang-Si-sJabstogs initiative, highlighting its role in ensuring the timely resolution of public grievances and improving access to government services. He also reviewed the concerns with the respective departments and directed for immediate redressal of issues wherever possible.
The outreach camp concluded with active participation from the villagers and positive feedback on the prompt service delivery by the district administration.
