Mimings Si rJabstogs Campaign to Strengthen Public Outreach and Welfare Initiatives Held at Youlkam, Nubra

Nubra, Nov 13, 2025:As part of the ongoing Mimings Si Rjabstogs Campaign aimed at strengthening public outreach and ensuring the effective delivery of welfare schemes, an outreach camp was successfully organized today at Youlkam, Nubra, under the Chairmanship of Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Chhostak.
Around 18 departments participated in the camp, during which a large number of local residents attended and availed themselves of various welfare services and benefits. Officials from multiple departments also conducted awareness programmes to inform the public about different government schemes and encouraged them to take full advantage of the facilities made available through the campaign.
During the camp, several on the spot services were provided to the residents. A total of 8 Resident Certificates, 4 Scheduled Tribe Certificates, 1 Income Certificate and 30 Revenue Extracts were issued by the Revenue Department. The Health Department carried out various health related services including the creation of ABHA IDs, PMJAY enrollments, NCD screenings, hemoglobin checks, and distribution of tuberculosis sample tubes. It also distributed twenty deworming tablets to local residents. The ICDS Department facilitated Aadhaar updation services in two cases, enrolled one beneficiary under the PMMVY scheme and generated 15 APAAR IDs. Similarly, 24 ration cards were verified by the Food and Civil Supplies Department. The Agriculture Department processed 1 PM Kisan registration, 3 KCC forms, and issued 4 greenhouse forms to beneficiaries. The Animal Husbandry Department provided treatment in 12 cases and extended other veterinary services to the public. The Social Welfare Department also addressed issues related to pension and other social security schemes.
Later, Tehsildar Sumoor, Tashi Chhostak, visited the Government Primary School, Youlkam, where he interacted with the students and inquired about their academic progress and school facilities.
