Leh, Dec 13: National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit and Department of Physical Education, Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Leh organised a prize distribution-cum-felicitation ceremony for the outstanding student performers in various categories of sports (National) and the students who recently qualified for ‘Agniveer’.
The Sports Committee and the NCC unit headed by Lt. Dr. Ujwala Koche jointly hosted the programme and the principal, EJM College, Dr. Samina Iqbal presided over the ceremony.
While appreciating the achievers Dr. Samina stated, “An outright reason to organise such programmes is that the students are keeping up pace with progressively increasing standards of education”. She added that such programmes are also imperative to motivate and inspire the young learners. She wished the student achievers best for their future endeavours.
