National Voters’ Day celebrated at Tehsildar Office Drass.
Kargil, Jan 25, 2025: The 15th National Voters’ Day was celebrated today at Tehsildar Office Drass.
The event began with the National Voter’s Pledge, followed by a presentation by BLO’s from Rambirpora, Bhimbet and Muradbagh who emphasized the significance of elections and the need for increased voter awareness. Tehsildar Drass also highlighted the importance of active electoral participation.
After the awareness session, a special program was conducted in which newly eligible voters, primarily students took part. The event was marked by the national slogan, “Nothing like voting. I vote for sure,” promoting the importance of civic responsibility and engagement.
Furthermore, the Tehsildar distributed election cards to both new and existing voters. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants for their involvement and support.
