    NHM UT Ladakh Intensifies AI-Assisted TB Screening Under NTEP.
    Under the guidance of Sh. Tushar Anand, IAS, Mission Director, NHM UT Ladakh, the National Health Mission continues to strengthen grassroots TB elimination efforts through AI-assisted Chest X-ray screening under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme.
    As part of the ongoing Active Case Finding Campaign, screening camps were conducted at 762 BRTF, BRO Drass and Qamar Ali Akhoon Memorial Hospital Kargil. A total of 328 individuals were screened, with 58 referred for CBNAAT testing for further diagnosis.
    At 762 BRTF, BRO Drass, 231 beneficiaries were screened and 45 referred for CBNAAT testing. The camp was supported by Capt. Vishwas Matto and Dr. Mukul Yadav, while Brigadier Rahul Oberoy appreciated the initiative during his visit.
    At Qamar Ali Akhoon Memorial Hospital, Kargil, 97 individuals underwent screening, with 13 referred for CBNAAT testing. Dr. Fatima Nissa, District Tuberculosis Officer, Kargil, reviewed the screening activities and commended the healthcare teams.
    The initiative reflects NHM UT Ladakh’s continued commitment to early TB detection and the Government of India’s vision of a TB-Mukt Bharat.
