NYK Leh organises cycle rally on World Bicycle Day

Leh, June 02: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Leh organised a state-level cycle rally on the occasion of the World Bicycle Day in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports today as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav celebration.
The cycle rally was flagged-off from NDS Ground by the chief guest LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, in presence of Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Secretary, Sports and Youth Services, Ravinder Dangi, SP Traffic, Rafi Giri; Deputy Director, NYK, Leh, Tajammul Ara, ZPEO, Abid Ali and other concerned officials of NYK and DYSS.
A total of 100 cyclists from different schools participated in the 7.5km long rally commencing from NDS Ground to Mahabodhi Residential School and back to NDS Ground.
A cultural performance was also presented by the volunteers of the NYK, Leh.
