One day Local Community Visit to Government Degree College Nobra.
Govt Degree College, Nobra under the chairmanship of Principal Prof. Rigzin Sangdup organized a one-day community enrichment program on 10th of September 2025, with the Ama Tsogspa of Diskit village. Keeping in mind the importance of community role in enrolment and raising awareness about the progress in the ongoing construction, the principal has initiated such program within the campus. The ama Tsogspa were briefed by the principal about various projects carried out in the campus especially the 50 bedded boys’ and girls’ hostels which will be completed by October end 2025. He stated that from next session students of Nubra valley can avail the benefits of academic block and hostels. The women were given a tour of the campus, and were request to spread the message getting higher education at their door step. They were further appraised by teaching faculties about the various courses offered by GDC Nobra, the availability of laboratory, library and various sports equipment.
