Preparations Reviewed for Inauguration of New District Court Complex in Kargil.
Kargil, March 17, 2026: A meeting was convened today under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kargil, Mr. Sheikh Gowher Hussain, to review and finalize preparations for the upcoming inauguration of the New District Court Complex, Kargil.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Mr. Rakesh Kumar; Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kargil, Mr. Nitin Yadav, the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kargil, Mr. Tsewang Phuntsog; Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kargil, Mr. Chemit Yurgyal; Munsiff Sankoo, Mr. Sadiq Ali Wazir; along with other district officers.
Detailed deliberations were held regarding the arrangements and coordination required for the successful conduct of the inauguration ceremony. The New District Court Complex, Kargil, is scheduled to be inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, along with other dignitaries.
All departments were directed to ensure seamless coordination and to make necessary arrangements to facilitate the smooth conduct of the event.
The meeting concluded with a collective commitment from all stakeholders to ensure that the inauguration ceremony is conducted in a dignified and well-organized manner.
