Principal GDC Drass Flags Off College Handball and Archery Teams for Ladakh University Sports Meet

Drass, May 03, 2025: The Principal of Government Degree College (GDC) Drass today flagged off the college handball and archery teams for their participation in the inter-college sports event organized by the University of Ladakh.
The players were accompanied by Mr. Mohd Yaseen, Director of Physical Education and Sports.
A total of 28 students are participating in the games, with four teams representing the college: one female handball team, one male handball team, one female archery team, and one male archery team.
Prior to the event, Mr. Yaseen put in significant effort to train the students, ensuring they were well-prepared and ready to perform at their best.
During the flag-off ceremony, the Principal congratulated the students for their passion and interest in sports, and thanked them for representing the college. He encouraged them to stay active, play their games with energy, and maintain mental strength throughout the competition.
Mr. Yaseen expressed his gratitude to the Principal for providing the opportunity and for encouraging students to participate in such events.
