Advisor to Hon’ble LG Ladakh reviewed the NIC developed application for revenue department.

On March 13th 2024, LLaRMA (Ladakh Land Records Management Agency) headed by Dr Pawan Kotwal IAS, Advisor to Hon’ble LG also holding the charge of Principal Secretary Revenue took a review of the software application developed by NIC Ladakh for employees of the revenue department. The application has been designed and developed to streamline the management and working with land documents such as Jamabandi, mutation, Mussavi, and others. This event showcased the quick reference of time lined revenue documents that will help the department in quick and referenced disposals. Besides Advisor to Hon’ble LG Ladakh, those present include the Administrative Secretary IT, Deputy Commissioners, Director Finance and other revenue officials.

The new application developed and introduced by NIC Ladakh makes it easy for users to find and access land documents. With a simple interface, users can navigate through documents from different districts, villages, and tehsils. It provides quick access to a wide range of land-related documents dating back several years.

The Advisor praised the application, developed by Ms Kunzang Dolma, Scientist-B (Assistant Director – IT) NIC Ladakh, for its usefulness. He highlighted its importance in making the revenue department equipped with ICT tools.

Earlier, the Advisor to Hon’ble LG Ladakh, in a meeting held with Dr. Susheel Kumar (HOG, DDG and Coordinator Ladakh & J&K) had desired for such an application to read the revenue data submitted by M/s Ramtech Pvt Ltd.
