Public Outreach Camp Held Under ‘Mimangs-Si-SJhabstogs’ Campaign at Gya Meru Village.
Leh, November 12, 2025: As part of the ongoing “Mimangs-Si-SJhabstogs” (Administration at Your Doorstep) campaign aimed at strengthening public outreach and welfare delivery, a public outreach camp was organized today at Gya Meru village in Kharu Sub-Division.
The event witnessed the participation of around 20 departments, providing various on-spot public services to the villagers. The Food and Civil Supplies Department facilitated enrollment in ration cards, while the Health Department conducted health screenings, created ABHA IDs, and distributed PMJAY (Golden) Cards. Awareness sessions on pension schemes, digital banking, and cyber fraud were conducted by J&K Bank.
The ICDS Department handled the issuance of PMMVY benefits and creation of APAAR IDs, while the Social Welfare Department enrolled beneficiaries under pension and scholarship schemes. The Agriculture Department facilitated KCC and PM-KISAN enrollments, and the Rural Development Department provided job card issuance and eKYC services. Additionally, various Self Help Groups under LRLM showcased their local products.
The Sheep and Animal Husbandry Department distributed medicines and provided antiparasitic sprays. Ongoing projects under PWD, Rural Development, Irrigation and Flood Control, and PHE departments were assessed, with several local issues resolved on the spot.
Resident certificates, domicile certificates, ST certificates, and mutation documents were also distributed during the camp. Services such as Aadhaar enrollment and correction were facilitated by the Education and Rural Departments.
