Review Meeting on Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).
A Review Meeting on the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) was held on 30 December 2025 via Video Conference at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh. The meeting was chaired by Shri Ravi Dhawan, IAS, Director, Ministry of Power, Government of India in presence of DC kargil Sh. Rakesh Kumar.
During the meeting, indicator-wise progress was reviewed, with detailed discussions on targeted percentages and achievements across key sectors. The sectors reviewed included Health, Education, Agriculture, PM-KISAN, Soil Health Card, FMD Vaccination, Groundwater Extraction, BharatNet, PMAY-G, Household Construction, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Banking, and other related indicators.
It was also directed that all indicators displayed on the concerned websites be updated regularly to reflect accurate and current data.
The Chair urged all concerned departments and officials to be fully prepared with complete and updated data for the next review meeting and to carry out their assigned responsibilities diligently to achieve the programme targets effectively.
The meeting was attended by officials including the CMO Kargil, BMO Karsha (Zanskar), BDO Kargil, Dr. Gulzar, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Kargil, DPM–Livelihood (virtually), the Aspirational Blocks Fellow, and other concerned officers.
