Sankoo Campus, GDC Kargil holds awareness program on NEP in Higher Education at Sankoo

Kargil, March 24, 2023: Sankoo Campus, Govt. Degree College (GDC) Kargil today conducted an awareness program on “New Education Policy in Higher Education” at ASHRM Higher Secondary School, Sankoo.
The program was aimed to create awareness about the basics of Higher Education under the NEP 2020. Nasir-Ud-Din Khafi, Assistant Professor of English, gave a detailed presentation about the New Education Policy and its objectives.
He made the students aware of the Course Structure, Multiple Entry and Exit System, Academic Bank of Credit and other significant details of Under Graduate Courses at the Higher Education level through power point presentation.
Coordinator of the program, Dr Abid Hussain explained the Choice Based Credit System and its benefits for the students. He also assured students to extend maximum possible help regarding admission guidance at the campus.
Students of Class 12th participated in the program and interacted with the resource persons regarding various issues related to the New Education Policy.
The students took a keen interest in the program and thanked the college authorities for conducting such programs at their school.
The college authorities expressed gratitude to the School Principal for giving them an opportunity to interact with the students about this important issue.
Volunteer students were engaged in the prior arrangement of the program and helped actively to make the program successful. This program will continue in other feeding schools of the college campus in the coming days as well.
