    SDM Shakar Chiktan chairs meeting in view of World Environment Day celebration.

    Kargil, June 04, 2023: Sub Divisional Magistrate Shakar Chiktan, Mohd Sharif today chaired a meeting in view of the World Environment Day 2023 celebration in the Sub Division including in Tehsil Headquarter Shargole.
    The meeting was attended by all concerned officers of Tehsil Shakar Chiktan and Shargole. After threadbare discussion, decisions were taken to finalize the celebration of the WED on June 05 at Tehsil Headquarter Shargole and Shakar Chiktan of the Sub-Division.
    It was informed that the program shall commence at 9:00 a.m. at both the Tehsil Headquarters with a pledge regarding “Lifestyle for the Environment” followed by plantation and rally for awareness among the masses together with cleanliness drive.
    At Shargole, the program shall start from PHC and shall end at Hr. Sec. School Shargole. At Shakar Chiktan, the program shall start from SDM Office Chiktan Lungma and shall end at Hr. Sec. School Chiktan.
    Mohd Sadiq, Forester Shakar Chiktan and Mohd Mehdi, Forester Shargole shall arrange banners and placards in their respective zones.
    The Foresters of both the Tehsil Headquarters shall supply adequate number of saplings for plantation at locations discussed in the meeting.
    As decided in the meeting held on June 03 at District Headquarter, the refreshment for Officers/Officials shall be arranged by the SDM office at Chiktan and Tehsidlar at Shargole. The refreshment for students shall be arranged by the concerned ZEOs of both zones. The expenditure incurred thereof shall be met out of OE.
    The SK of SDM Office Chiktan shall be ready with amplifier to be used on the day at Chiktan and similar arrangement shall be made by the Tehsildar and BDO Shargole.
    Similarly, an announcer shall be arranged at both the places by the SDM and Tehsildar at Chiktan and Shargole respectively.
    The photos/videos of the WED celebration shall be covered and same are to be uploaded on District/Sub-Division WhatsApp groups and the relevant Portal (Mission life Portal). The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
