Leh, May 3, 2026: The Mega Free Medical Camp, organised as part of the ongoing Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata Buddha in Ladakh, successfully continued on its second day at the MIMC Devachan Campus, Leh.
The camp is being organised by the UT Administration in collaboration with the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) and SNM Hospital, and is scheduled to continue till May 14, 2026.
Held daily at the Mahabodhi Mahakaruna Charitable Hospital, Devachan, the camp is offering free medical check-ups and distribution of medicines to the general public.
On the second day, the camp witnessed an increased participation, with a significant number of people arriving from different parts of Ladakh. Beneficiaries included local residents, monks, nuns, and workers, who availed themselves of the specialised healthcare services.
A team of specialist doctors, including Gynaecologists, ENT specialists, Ophthalmologists, and Dental Surgeons, continued to provide consultations. Essential services such as TB screening, NCD screening, radiology, and other diagnostic facilities were actively carried out.
