Second phase of Covid vaccination drive: 420 police & paramilitary forces personnel given Covid-19 jabs in UT Ladakh.

Leh: A total of 420 police and paramilitary forces personnel were given Covid-19 jabs in the second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive that commenced in UT Ladakh today. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Leh, Rajiv Pandey was among those given Covid-19 jab at District Police Line, Choglamsar.
While 344 were inoculated against Covid-19 in Leh district, a total of 76 police personnel were given Covid jabs in Kargil districts. A total of 106 police personnel were inoculated against Covid-19 at District Police Line, Choglamsar and 102 police personnel were given Covid-19 jabs at Ladakh Heart Foundation. Similarly, 70 Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel were given Covid-19 shots at Ladakh Heart Foundation, and 66 personnel of ITBP were given Covid-19 vaccine at ITBP Centre.
A total of 76 police personnel were given Covid-19 jabs at District Police Line, Kargil.
Meanwhile, 42 healthcare workers were given the second dose of Covid vaccine at District Hospital, Kargil. Similarly, a total of 97 healthcare workers were given Covid-19 jabs in the first phase of Covid vaccination drive in Kargil, including 40 at Sub-District Hospital, Drass and 57 at Community Health Centre, Panikhar.
