Shri Govt. Model High School, Lankore celebrates annual day
Kargil, Nov 20, 2023: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today attended the annual day celebration of PM Shri Govt. Model High School, Lankore, Kargil as chief guest.
Executive Councillor PHE/I&FC, Kacho Mohammad Feroz was guest of honour; Joint Director, Information, Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho was special guest; Councillor Town, Haji Mohd Abbas Adulpa; Deputy CEO, Kargil, Muhammad Hadi, other officers, Headmistress PM Shri Govt. Model High School, Lankore, Badr-Un-Nissa, Village Education Committee Lankore Chairman Village Education Committee Lankore members, staff members, students, parents and other guests were present on the occasion. The school celebrated annual day with enthusiasm and zeal.
On the occasion, CEC appreciated the untiring efforts of the school management and congratulated the students for their performance.
He also commended the Village Education Committee Lankore, acknowledging their commendable efforts. He highlighted the school as a shining example for others to follow, emphasizing its role model status within the educational community.
While replying the memorandum of demands by the school management, the CEC said that for dearth of teachers will be solved by the rationalization process. He also assured that the shortage of Hindi teacher will be solved soon.
For the demand of medical facilities in the school, the CEC assured to look into the matter for possibilities. On the occasion, the CEC announced Rs 4 lakh in his fund for the requirement of furniture for library in the school.
Speaking on the occasion, the EC congratulated the school administration for achieving the new heights in the academic as well as other activities. He also said that the LAHDC, Kargil under the leadership of CEC Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon is committed to promote quality education in the district.
While speaking on the occasion, Joint Director, Information, Ladakh, Imteeaz Kacho appreciated the students for their performances.
Recognizing the pivotal contributions, Kacho applauded both the school management and local community for propelling the school’s advancement.
Emphasizing the importance of preserving local culture and language, he urged a holistic educational approach. Additionally, he encouraged students to actively participate in co-curricular activities for a well-rounded development.
On the occasion, Headmistress PM Shri Govt. Model High School, Lankore, Badr-Un-Nissa, briefed about annual report of the school. She highlighted the achievements and challenges faced by the school. During the event, other speakers also lauded school administration and Village Education Committee Lankore for their efforts in the progress of the school.
During the event, impressive cultural dances, cultural songs, skits, etc. were presented by the students. The distinguished students were honoured with prizes and certificates of appreciation and recognition by the guests.
