State Prabhari Officer UT Ladakh attends Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp at Bodhkharboo Panchayat in Shakar Chiktan.
Kargil, Nov 26: To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was today organized at Bodhkharboo Panchayat in Block Shakar Chiktan which was attended by Bipin Menon, Development Commissioner, NSEZ, Noida/State Prabhari Officer UT Ladakh.
Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Shrikant Suse, BDC Shakar Chiktan Syeeda Bano, Councillor Stachay Khangral Padma Doorjay, Councillor Chiktan Kacho Liaqat Ali Khan, ADC Kargil Ghulam Mohiudin Wani, ACR Ghulam Mohammad, SDM Shakar Chiktan AG Zargar, district officers and officials of different departments were present at the camp.
The State Prabhari Officer UT Ladakh was received by DC Kargil in presence of locals of Bodhkharboo with traditional welcome with khatak.
The State Prabhari Officer inspected the stalls set up by various departments like Handloom, Handicraft, J&K Bank, Health, Social and Tribal Welfare, Sheep Husbandry Department, Education Department, ICDS, Revenue, DIC, Agriculture, FCS&CA, PHE (JJM), Self Help Groups of Chiktan, Information Department, NYK and other line departments. Ayushman Card Generation counter was also set up and Ayushman Bharat Cards were also issued to beneficiaries.
Later in his speech, the State Prabhari officer UT Ladakh who was chief guest on the occassion thanked the people of Bodhkharboo for attending the program.
He said that people should be proud of being Indians and said the country has moved forward in every sector. He appealed the artisans to do the marketting of local products and use internet to progress in their business and promote the products.
He asked the artisans to do the export of the products and assured them to help them in exports and help with the buyers. The State Prabhari Officer also asked the artisans to try to sell their products in the India markets.
He asked the Ladakhi youth to take part in ice hockey and other sports activities. He also asked the parents to encourage their children in start ups and be independent.
The State Prabhari Officer sked the different departments to do the saturation of government schemes and government is committed to the upliftment of locals population.
On the occasion, DC Kargil said the Yatra was started on 15 November and it takes forward the vision of Prime Minister of India to make the country developed by 2047.
He appealed the locals to take the Ladakhi local culture and heritage and play their part. The Deputy Commissioner thanked the students for their performance.
Councillor Stachay Khangral Padma Doorjay also briefed about the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and appealed the people to take the benefits of different welfare schemes of the government. He thanked the District Administration Kargil for organising the program in their village.
Earlier the ADC Kargil presented the welcome adress and briefed about the activities bring conducted across the district under the banner of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.
He said that the Yatra is aimed to reach out each and every village of Kargil and take all the schemes of the government of India to the eligible beneficiaries.
Deputy CMO Kargil, Dr Mohd Abass also spoke at the event and said that they have been focusing on screening of Non-Communicable Diseases during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camps and people have been screened for the same.
Earlier, Mourup Tashi, beneficiary of PMAY spoke at the event and said was benefitted by the scheme as his house was constructed. Earlier before he had no house of her own.
Cultural programs were also presented by the students of Maha Budhi School and High School Bodhkharboo that enthralled the audience. Students and artisans were also felicitated.
SDM Shakar Chiktan presented the vote of thanks. On the occasion, locals enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from Honorable Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
At the event, the villagers were comprehensively briefed on an array of beneficiary-oriented schemes meticulously crafted to uplift and improve the quality of their lives.
The camp also focused on Jal Jeevan Mission initiatives, offering guidance and support to mitigate water-related challenges in the region.
One of the aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented benefits to the villagers on the spot.
Besides others, the other departments also informed the people about beneficiary-oriented schemes. This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life.
Officials from different departments and institutions gave awareness to the locals about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
The officials expressed gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The Viksit Bharat pledge was also taken by the officials and participants.
