    Sub-Division Khaltse Concludes 8-Day Public Outreach Initiative “Mimang Si sJabstogs”.
    Leh, 18th November 2025 – The Sub-Division Administration Khaltse today marked the successful conclusion of its extensive eight-day tour under the special public outreach programme “Mimang Si sJabstogs”, an initiative launched by the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, following the expiration of the term of the 6th Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh.
    The programme, which aimed at delivering various government schemes and essential services directly to the doorsteps of the public, commenced on 10th November 2025 from Youlchung, a hamlet of the Singaylalok belt, and concluded today at Nurla. On the final day of the tour, the outreach team visited Khalsi headquarters, Skindyang, Tar-Hepti and Nurla. The entire eight-day campaign was personally led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mohd Sharif and covered 18 villages including 15 hamlets across the sub-division.
    The primary objectives of the programme were to inform the public about the services to be provided by the District Administration, with special focus on the continuity of schemes after the dissolution of the 6th LAHDC Leh and the enhanced roles of Lambardars and local members in executing pending and ongoing district schemes; to obtain direct input from villagers regarding their grievances and compliments; to provide on-the-spot services such as issuance of various revenue certificates, Aadhaar updation, Golden Card issuance, health check-ups by the Medical Department, and awareness about banking schemes of State Bank of India and J&K Bank; and to create widespread awareness about various Central, UT and district-level schemes, including schemes of the Horticulture Department and measures for role enhancement and strengthening of government schools under the Zonal Education Officer, Khaltse.
    Throughout the eight-day tour, officers and officials from all 22 departments of the district, along with representatives of banks and BSNL, actively participated wherever required.

    On the concluding day, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate expressed his heartfelt thanks to all officers and officials of the sub-division for their continuous cooperation and enthusiastic participation throughout the tour. He also extended gratitude to the nodal departments of the sub-division for their excellent arrangements and for providing satisfactory replies to all queries and complaints raised by the public.
    The successful completion of “Mimang Si sJabstogs” has reinforced the commitment of the District Administration to ensure last-mile delivery of services and schemes to every citizen of the region.
