    Technical Training on Mission Vatsalya Portal Concludes in Kargil.
    Kargil, June 05, 2025 – The two-day Technical Training on Mission Vatsalya Portal, organized by the Social & Tribal Welfare Department, UT Ladakh in collaboration with UT Child Protection Society, Ladakh concluded in Kargil. The Director of the department, Tashi Dolma, addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the rules and regulations of Mission Vatsalya.
    Further she directed to make action plan for the upcoming financial year of each unit under Mission Vatsalya.
    The training aimed to enhance the capabilities of stakeholders in effectively implementing child protection initiatives and promoting the well-being of children in the region.
    The training featured presentations by resource persons on various topics, including Project Approval Board (PAB), Special Juvenile Police Units, Child Care Institutions, Reports submission, Adoption Regulation Act 2022, Caring Portal and Grading of Child Care Institutions.
    A video on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 was also screened, followed by deliberations on POCSO-related cases.
    In the concluding session, District Child Protection Officer, Kargil, Samina Khatoon, urged the participants to work closely with all stakeholders to achieve better results and ensure effective implementation of Mission Vatsalya at the grassroots level.
    The training concluded with the facilitation of the resource persons and vote of thanks.
