The Department of Information & Public Relations Leh organized an awareness programme on drugs and other substance abuse at the Paras Hall of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Leh.
Consultant Psychiatrist SNM Hospital Leh Dr. Padma Angmo spoke widely about the current scenario and gave clinical suggestions for mental health and wellbeing. Principal GBHSS Leh Tsering Norboo and AE&CO DIPR Leh Stanzin Wangmo also shared their concerns over the serious issue affecting the younger generation in particular.
Aided by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting New Delhi and District Administration Leh, this awareness campaign is scheduled to be held in various schools in and around Leh city and villages of the Leh district.
