The District Election Office Leh conducted a hands-on training session on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) at the DC Conference Hall on March 26, 2026. The training was attended by Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), BLO Supervisors, and District Level Master Trainers (DLMTs).
The session was facilitated by State Level Master Trainers, Mr. Aftikar Ali (ENT) and Ms. Chozin Palmo (EA-JR). The programme was held under the supervision of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Leh, Mr. Mukul Beniwal (IAS), and Assistant Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Delex Namgial.
The training focused on the meticulous verification and updating of electoral rolls, with an emphasis on strengthening technical preparedness among field-level functionaries. Participants were guided through key procedures and best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency during the Special Intensive Revision process.

The initiative aims to equip all concerned officials with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve 100% accuracy in electoral roll management during the ongoing revision period.
