The Finance Department, UT Ladakh, convened a virtual meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Laltinkhuma Franklin, IAS, Secretary Finance, UT Ladakh.

Leh, November 25, 2025: The Finance Department, UT Ladakh, convened a virtual meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Laltinkhuma Franklin, IAS, Secretary Finance, UT Ladakh, with the Controller of Accounts, Ministry of Home Affairs, to review the proposed integration of the Ladakh Integrated Financial Management System (LIFMS) with the Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
The integration aims to enable real-time budget expenditure tracking and monitoring, while also facilitating a transition to paperless budgeting across the Union Territory.
The meeting was held at the Civil Secretariat, UT Ladakh, and was attended by all Joint Directors (Finance), the Treasury Officers/PAO Leh and Kargil, the Accounts Officer, and officials from the LIFMS Section. Officers and officials from the Principal Accounts Office (MHA) and the PFMS Team (Delhi) joined the meeting virtually.
