The programme was presided over by the Superintendent of Post Offices, Sh. Arvind Kher, in the presence of the Postmaster (PM) Leh, Head Post Office, other officers and staff of the division, and representatives from nearby post offices. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Superintendent addressed the gathering, highlighting the role of the Department of Posts in nation-building, its services to the people of Ladakh, and ongoing initiatives to improve postal connectivity and customer service in the region. Officials paid tribute to the freedom fighters and honoured the dedication of postal employees who continue to serve in challenging terrain. Cultural performances by local staff and a short patriotic programme added vibrancy to the celebration. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets and a pledge by all attendees to uphold the values of unity, integrity, and service.
