The National Institute of Sowa Rigpa Leh has participated in the National Arogya Mela 2026.

The National Institute of Sowa Rigpa Leh has participated in the National Arogya Mela 2026 held at Shegaon in Buldhana district, Maharashtra for four days from 2510212026 to 2810212026. The
event was graciously inaugurated by the Hon’ble President of lndi4 Smt. Draupadi Murmu in attendance ofHon’ble Governor of Maharashtrq Shri Acharya Dewrat, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon’ble
Union Minister of State (I/C) AYUSH and MoS Health and Family Welfare, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH and other distinguish Ministers of Maharashtra Govt. and Guests.
The Hon’ble President of lndia, Smt. Droupadi Murmu mentioned about Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine and National Institute of Sowa Rigpu, Leh in her address, which was very positive, proud and
encouraging moment for National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh.
After the inauguration, Hon’ble President and dignitaries visited the exhibition stalls including the stall of National Institute of Sowa Rigpq Leh. The NISR showcased its academic excellence,
research achievements, and healthcare services for general public. The stall also attracted keen interest and appreciation from participants, delegates, and visitors.
The participation of the National Institutes of Sowa Rigpa marked another significant step in promoting the Sowa Rigpa system of medicine at the national platform. Amchi physician provided
diagnosis through traditional methods of observation, palpation and questioning to all patients and distributed free medicines. The representatives from the National Institute of Sowa Rigpu are Dr. Tsering Norzom, Dr. Lotus Otzer, Shri Rinchen Tundup and Mrs Tsetan Angmo.
