Tiranga Rally Organised in Kargil Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Kargil, August 14, 2026: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, the Libraries and Research Department, Kargil, in collaboration with Suru Valley Public Higher Secondary School and Pioneer High School, Kargil, organised a spirited Tiranga Rally in Kargil today.
The rally commenced from Suru Valley Public Higher Secondary School at 10:30 AM and passed through prominent areas, including Fatima Chowk and Apo Bazar, before culminating back at the school. Students and staff enthusiastically participated in the rally, carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans, spreading the message of patriotism, national unity and respect for the National Flag.
The rally was held under the guidance of Sh. Zahoor Ahmed, Librarian, LRD Kargil, Sh. Ghulam Mohd Khan, Principal, Suru Valley Public Higher Secondary School, with active participation and leadership from the teaching staff and students of both schools.
The rally provided an opportunity for students to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and reinforced the values of patriotism, unity, discipline and civic responsibility among the younger generation.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the dignity of the National Flag and carry forward the spirit of national unity and patriotism as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
