TLSA Zanskar organizes program on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.

Kargil, July 25, 2023:
The Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Zanskar Kargil, in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School, Padum Zanskar, on Tuesday organized a program on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” at Conference Hall of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Padum Zanskar.
The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Stanzin Lahmo, teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Padum Zanskar.
Thukjay Gayalack, Lecturer of Commerce, Tsewang Dorjay, Lecturer of Political Science, and Photang Angmo, a Class 12 student, eloquently addressed the theme, shedding light on the significance of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.”
Adv. Lobzang Gayalack shared valuable insights on the advantages of “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.” The program culminated with the esteemed presence of the Worthy Principal District & Sessions Judge Kargil/ Chairman DLSA Kargil, who spoke about the theme and sensitized the audience about the hazards of drug abuse. He urged the students to stay away from drugs and focus on their careers.
The occasion also witnessed the presence of the PLVs of TLSC Zanskar, adding to the event’s significance.
Stanzin Lahmo, in her vote of thanks, expressed her gratitude and shared her thoughts on the theme, emphasizing the importance of empowering girls through education.
