Training Held for various officials Ahead of Upcoming LAHD SSRB Examination.
Leh, November 19, 2025:
A comprehensive training session was conducted today for officials assigned duties for the upcoming LAHD SSRB examination to ensure the exam is conducted in a smooth, transparent, and efficient manner. The session began with an in-depth presentation delivered by Rehmatullah Butt (JKAS), secretary LAHD SSRB /deputy director , district employment and council centre Leh , who explained every step and instruction related to the conduct of the examination.
The presentation covered key responsibilities of examination staff, including: Duties of Superintendent (before the examination and on the day of the exam), Roles of Invigilators, including the mandate to use only black or blue ballpoint pens , Timeline for opening and distributing question booklets, Seating plan illustration and seating arrangement protocols, Distribution of OMR sheets, Candidate identification and verification process, Instructions for filling the OMR sheet and important dos and don’ts, Handling and safeguarding sensitive examination material, Packing and sealing of post-exam materials, Reporting and escalation procedure during any irregularity or issue.
The trainer emphasised that officials must maintain complete transparency, accountability, and strict adherence to all instructions, without making any independent decisions that could compromise the exam process. He further advised that in case of any confusion or issue during the examination, staff should immediately contact the centre supervisor instead of taking action on their own.
A question-and-answer session was also held, during which officials raised queries and sought clarification on various procedures, helping ensure uniform understanding across all examination centres.
The training aimed to prepare all examination functionaries for the smooth and fair conduct of the LAHDC–SSRB exam. Training program is being conducted in four phases accordingly training program was conducted for two groups in forenoon and afternoon sessions for today while remaining two groups will be covered tomorrow on 20th of November
The training program was also attended by ADDC LEH Sh Sonam Nurboo JKAS and HQ to DC LEH Rigzin Yangdol JKAS
ADDC LEH also briefed participants about importance of training program for upcoming examination.
