Training on expanded range of service commences at CHC Sankoo

Kargil, March 15, 2023:

Block Medical Officer Sankoo today organized a training program to train FMPHWs, ASHAs, MMPHWs of Sankoo and Taisuru Blocks was held at CHC Conference Hall for providing various expanded range of service through community level and Health & Wellness Center on “Expanded Range of Service”.

Dr Tariq Inayat, Medical officer, CHC Sankoo, Stanzing Dolma, Community Health Officer (CHO) and Counsellor CHC Sankoo, Raziya Banoo were the resource persons during the training programme.

During the training, Dr Tariq highlighted care in pregnancy and childbirth, neonatal and infant healthcare services, childhood and adolescent healthcare services and other reproductive healthcare services through power point presentation.

NCD Counsellor Raziya Banoo gave details on management of Common Communicable Diseases and outpatient care for acute simple illnesses and minor ailments.

Stanzin Dolma spoke about family planning, contraceptive services and other reproductive healthcare services.
